What it is:
Closed-back in-ear earphones with strong bass.
Build and ergonomics:
Matte black metal body, solidly built a la Audio Technica. Fairly thick cable, Y-split in the middle, doesn’t tangle. No microphonics can be heard. Terminated to a L-shaped 3.5mm plug with strain relief. Very easy to wear and does not feel heavy on the ears.
Sound:
Warm sound with strong low-end punch, albeit slightly uncontrolled, which gives the overall sound a weighty feel. Mids are thick and smooth (ie. “creamy”), with no observed sibilance. Male vocals sound excellent. Highs are clear but not strident. Soundstage and separation is good for an in-ear earphone.
