Sony has announced two new headphone models and two new IEM models. While we are still unsure of their sound quality, it’s always refreshing to see the new designs for portable audio devices that Sony comes up with.
The MDR-570s is looking good with four colors to choose from: black, orange, green, brown and indigo blue.
The second type, the MDR-370s are an open-type design, although I can’t see the open design from the photos. They use 30mm Neodymium drivers and weigh only 52g. Four colors are available; Pink, Blue, Green and White.
The IEMs, both the MDR-EX77LP and MDR-EX57 have 9mm neodymium drivers, and come with a carry case and cord adjuster.
The new MDR-570, MDR-370, MDR-EX77 and MDR-EX57 headphones will be available from May 2010, but unfortunately, we haven’t gotten any hint about their prices.
