Meier Audio will release a new portable headphone amp, coming up around May 2010.

Chowyeung, a member of mingo-hmw.com, said that he received email from Jan Meier who said that the amp will come without a USB-DAC and without crossfeed. We should expect an upgrade from the sonic qualitites of the 3MOVE, but also be aware that current consumption is 4 times as high as on the 3MOVE. This new amp is for people who wants the best sounding portable amp without compromises towards functionality.”
