Let’s go!

Meze Audio

At Meze, all eyes will be on the world premiere of the 105 SILVA – an open-back headphone that blends a cellulose composite and titanium driver for a sound that’s both crisp and immersive.

105 SILVA

Proudly introducing its latest dynamic open-back headphones, 105 SILVA, Meze Audio promises further immersion in the world of high-end audio through the brand’s signature rich, broad and warm sound soundstage.

105 SILVA boasts an exquisite design inspired by the Mid-Century Modern movement, combining vintage charm and contemporary aesthetics. Encased in freshly designed walnut earcups and reinforced with a high-strength polymer, 105 SILVA brings together iconic signatures from the full product line-up to deliver the next major step forward for audio innovation.

Inside the headphones there is audio technology to match — a 50 mm dynamic driver with a cellulose composite dome and a titanium-covered surround helps produce a crisp, engaging and detailed audio experience. Its titanium-coated semicrystalline polymer torus, and copper-zinc stabiliser ensure the driver membrane’s rigidity and strength, for a fast transient response and pleasantly textured bass with minimal distortion.

105 SILVA’s sound signature is a new take on Meze Audio’s iconic characteristics, including the technicalities of 109 PRO combined with the warmth and genre versatility of 105 AER. 105 SILVA specialises in mid-range presentation for vocals and strings, meaning listeners can enjoy the liveliness and impact of any music without sacrificing the micro details present in well-recorded tracks.

Also carrying over the self-adjusting spring steel headband found on its acclaimed predecessor, 105 AER, 105 SILVA is a culmination of years of leading ergonomic research and development from Meze Audio. Not only resulting in an unmatched experience for comfort listening, this iconic design also ensures all materials used in the headphones positively contribute to the overall performance.

Thanks to premium contact materials used in the full design of the headphones, including its deep-cushioned earcups, every component of 105 SILVA can be disassembled and replaced to last a
lifetime. Of course, the rest of their lineup will be on hand, including the Empyrean II, Elite and 109 Pro.

Ultra Cable

Also being introduced at High End Munich, Meze Audio’s latest high-performance headphone cable, Ultra, boasts an innovative Y-splitter design that allows for a continuous 16-to-8-wire braid without the use of soldering. With conductors made of 99.9% pure silver — the metal with the highest electrical conductivity — Ultra allows for faster signal transmission with minimal resistance.

Each individual cable is made of 40 conductors with a 0.08mm diameter, meaning the intricately engineered cable and high electrical resistance produces an incredible response and signal processing time. Featuring dual 4-pin mini-XLR connectors, Ultra is a premium cable designed to be paired with Meze Audio’s Elite and Empyrean II ranges, combining the finest headphones
available today with a cable specifically engineered for quality performance.

Also available with the cable are 3.5mm, 4.4mm, 6.3mm connections, taking any headphones which support such inputs.
