If you’re into tubes and 300b tubes, you will know the iconic 300b tube from Western Electric. They are a little out of my league but man are they nice!
Who knows, maybe one day I will be able to own a WE tube amp.
Woo Audio
It’s been a while since we saw something really new from Woo Audio, but now the WA23 LUNA is here.
Doesn’t it look gorgeous? I listened to it with the Empyrean and there was absolutely nothing to complain about.

It’s actually named 11 Audio and we absolutely love their Broadway gear.
I also got to listen to their new headphone amplifier prototype and I was seriously impressed.
Yamaha
I finally got to listen to the new Yamaha 5000S headphone. I spoke to the engineer about it and it actually took 5 or 6 years to develop.
Sound wise this headphone sounds heavy and full and it comes with plenty of low end. I did like the energy level, sparkle and fine detail as well as the note decay. I do am worried about listening fatigue however because of the thickness.
ZMF
I am glad I finally got to meet the ZMF team in person, and I really look forward to covering their headphones again on Headfonia.com
I especially loved this creation and tt was nice to discover how ZMF is building their unique wooden cups.
