Noble Falcon Pro Review

Sound Quality

The sound of the Noble Falcon Pro is a continuation of the standard model. It uses a Single Dynamic Driver together with 2 Balanced Armature drivers with a DSP tuning, which is done on the Bluetooth SoC side.

Overall the presentation is V-shaped with an emphasis on lower bass with good impact. Treble is definitive, bright, and pronounced as well. Mids are quite recessed. The Falcon Pro brings the Falcon’s presentation and takes it to another level in terms of the opposite ends of the spectrum. More bass and more treble that is.

Bass

The bass is very strong and textured with heavy emphasis in the sub-bass region. If you like your music with some oomph, then the Falcon Pro is your choice. The impact and rumble are very satisfying, especially with more popular music genres. I liked listening to RnB songs with it.

The kick of the bass is also impressive although the mid-bass area is not too pronounced because of the huge sub-bass focus. This could be changed via the EQ feature of the Sound Suite App with the Falcon, and that is also the case for the Pro. The earphones respond very nicely to the built-in EQ on the app, so playing the bands back and forth is so much fun to do.

After playing with the EQ you can have a better balanced and natural bass response and since the dynamic driver has good attack and speed, the bass quality is very good.

Noble Falcon Pro

Overall the bass performance is very impressive but this much bass might not be suitable for all. Among all the TWS IEMs I’ve tried, this is one of the best bass responses I’ve heard in terms of overall fun and impact. If you’re not very fond of the rumbling sub-bass, it can easily be changed with the EQ feature of the Sound Suite app as I remarked.

So all in all this a very impressive bass and EDM music lovers will probably fall in love. However, if you like a more natural bass response with more realism, this bass quantity is a bit over the top. Lows still have great quality, speed, and control though, so it’s not boomy.

Mids

Like I’ve mentioned, the mids are recessed with the Falcon Pro, and this is quite apparent from the first audition. At face value, this is not an ideal presentation for the lovers of vocal-oriented genres, instrumental music or Jazz, or Classical. But the good thing with the Falcon is the resolution and dynamics in this area.

Falcon was already quite good in terms of technicalities in the mid-range, but the Falcon Pro improves the resolution and transparency. Dynamics are good, fidelity is nice with a very resolving nature. So although the presentation is a V-shaped one, the mids are still quite good with good instrument separation and positioning.

However the note size is not big and because the mid-bass is overshadowed by the sub-bass, the lower notes of instruments are not very impressive. So technicalities-wise this is a very impressive TWS IEM in the mid-range but the presentation is not for every genre. There’s no doubt that it’s great for EDM and such popular genres.

Noble Falcon Pro

Still, many TWS models I’ve tried lacked resolution and transparency, not the Noble Falcon Pro though. For fidelity, it is indeed one of the best choices in the market at this time, regardless of its overall presentation. And the presentation can be altered via the Sound Suite, so you can have a fuller mid-range with more body.

Treble

The treble extension in the Noble Falcon was the first thing that I noticed when I tested it for the first time. That has been one of the points that exceeded my expectations together with the overall resolution. With the Falcon Pro, the treble is extended even further with much more detail. Micro-detail performance is exceptionally good for a TWS as well.

Treble however is more aggressive and accentuated. When listening with high volume levels, it tends to create sibilance with certain recordings. So again, the technical performance is better but you might not like the presentation depending on your preferences. Treble is sharper, more definitive, precise and it has better transparency than the classic Falcon.

If you like your treble to be rich, forward, and apparent, the Noble Falcon Pro is a viable choice for you. The overall resolution and detail pickup is impressive, which again proves that the Falcon Pro has excellent fidelity for a TWS.

Again, the EQ feature of the Sound Suite helps here to tame down the treble to have a more controlled and easy-going, smooth treble response.
