As promised and explained earlier, we’ll be doing a year long of weekly giveaways and last September was the start of our 52-week celebration. For this twenty-ninth unit of the biggest audio giveaway the world has ever seen, we’re giving away one PlusSound EXO Tri-Copper IEM/Headphone cable worth $550USD!! This excellent, award winning cable can become yours and all you have to do is … sign up and leave a comment. Any comment is good but tell me what IEM you’ll be using this cable with.

About PlusSound
PlusSound is an American company seated in Los Angeles that specialized in aftermarket cables but has also dipped their toes into the portable amplifier market. PlusSound has made its debut in early 2012 and has gained a lot of respect and interest for their outstanding products by the community.
PlusSound specializes in Universal fit in-ear monitors, Custom cables for In-Ear Monitors (IEMs), Headphones, and Interconnects. Amplifiers for IEMs and Headphones and audio accessories. All products are built and assembled in Los Angeles, California, USA. PlusSound’s Mission/Goal is “Providing consumers unique products that provide exceptional quality and sound”.
PlusSound X8 Tri-Copper
The EXO Tri-Copper
The Tri-Copper is a newly constructed wire by PlusSound. It features three different types of copper conductors per wire – pure copper, silver plated copper and gold plated copper. The aim of this cable was to offer a completely different signature to any existing Plussound cable. It was created to feature an open, smooth and punchy signature with soft treble.

Winner
The lucky winner will get his cable shipped directly by PlusSound. PlusSOund will cover the shipping fee but neither PlusSound nor Headfonia will cover any other expenses such as VAT, import fees, tax, etc. This is all the winner’s responsibility so if you’re not up for that, it’s best not to enter. PlusSound also won’t lower the unit’s value for shipping but you can choose the termination of the cable on both ends..

I would like to use this with my Shure 846. I’ve had my Shure 846 for a number of years and always used the stock cable which is ok. I’m sure the PlusSound EXO Tri-Copper cable will elevate the sound quality to a whole new level. I would love a bigger and more textured bass as I love my bass. I’m fairly sensitive to the highs on the Shure 846 provided it’s matched to the correct output impedance and would like a softer treble response. This cable would be a treat. Good luck all!
