For this 14th unit of the biggest audio giveaway the world has ever seen, we’re giving away 10 UNITS(!!!) of the Meier Audio Corda Rock, worth over $1900USD! Meier Audio is located in Germany and Jan Meier is the brain behind the company. I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Meier several times and next to being a very good engineer and designer he’s also one of the nicest guys in the business.

Many of you probably won’t know the Corda rock but it is an incredibly good headphone amplifier. Skylab from Innerfidelity has even put it on the legendary Wall of Fame, and that absolutely means the Corda Rock is one seriously impressive amplifier. This amp lives up to its name. Despite it’s small size it delivers great and powerful sound. The basic concept is relatively simple but high quality parts are used, resulting in a detailed sound with fine pace and rhythm. Please note that this amp is delivered without power cord.

The last two weeks, I tried to post funny comment.
But apparently I’m not talented to be a comedian.
Or at least my concept of something “funny” is perhaps different from other people.
Like back then when I went to some festival in my town, there was a stage for stand-up comedy. People found the jokes were hilarious and laugh hard.
I didn’t. I found the jokes were bland and rather “cringe”, awkwardness floating in the air around me.
And later, the stage were used to perform some local music, with lot of people playing instruments and a woman sing along while dancing sensually. Some people came up to the stage and joining the singer to dance wildly and slippin’ money on any opening parts they could found in the singer’s body. People found that was amusing, while me being disgusted.
And come the time when more people joining and the stage couldn’t bear it.
It’s fucking broke. Like if you took a wrong block at the bottom of Jenga tower and everything crumble apart, brought down the whole orchestra and the people above it.
Everyone were shocked and many screamed hiterically.
And I was there, laughing like hell.
