Nice pics. What are those colorful ALO Island lookalikes on Page 1? We know how Mike looks like but the new kid, Nathan?

Let’s keep it a secret how Nathan looks. Who knows it could be useful one day as my cover is already blown 😉

The new island Lookalikes haven’t publicly launched, but are from Korean manufacturer, HiSonus (http://www.hisonus.com). They do DSD, are made in Korea (not necessarily a good thing yet), and will go for a song.

The reports on them from other headfi members are not encouraging though. I tried twisting their UFO rotaries and was disappointed by the play in the wheel not to mention the plastic skirt underneath.

They are yet to market, so we will see. I hope a lot can change between now and then.

The Radius on page 4 is using the Onkyo HF Player app like the AK10/A200p so it looks like it can handle FLAC and DSD.

Same sound, but much smaller. Pretty easy to use. Has its disadvantages, but has many pluses, too.
