As promised and explained earlier, we’ll be doing a year long of weekly giveaways and last September was the start of our 52-week celebration. For this Eighteenth unit of the biggest audio giveaway the world has ever seen, we’re giving away two balanced Linum SuperBaX cables,worth over $700USD. One of these Linum balanced SuperBaX cables can become yours and all you have to do is… sign up and leave a comment saying what earphones you’ll be using it with. So yes, there will again be two winners next week!
But first, let’s look at Linum and the SuperBaX!!
About Linum
If you have ever considered buying an aftermarket cable, you definitely came across Linum. The Danish earphone cable brand has been around for a few years already and has brought us many great cables in the past.
I have done a good number of reviews for Linum cables already, a list of relevant links can be found lower in this article.
Linum is owned by Estron, a company that has been working in the hearing aid and audio business for some years now. They’re one of the biggest suppliers when it comes to hearing aid wires. When keeping this in mind, it makes a lot of sense that comfort is one of their top priorities.
In Linum’s portfolio we can find three different cables. The Music, the BaX and the SuperBaX. The SuperBaX has been in the works for quite some time and I have looked at their prototype all the way back in 2016 already.
The SuperBaX
The original Linum SuperBax isn’t new but just last week Linum has finally launched the balanced version of this unique cable. The balanced SuperBaX cable is only available in a 2.5mm termination for the moment; though the winner can also choose 4.4mm. At the earphone’s end you can choose MMCX, T2 and 2-pin connections. In theory this giveaway is for two balanced versions of this cable, but if the winners prefer a normal single ended cable, they can get that too.
