As promised and explained earlier, we’ll be doing a year long of weekly giveaways and last September was the start of our 52-week celebration. For this thirtieth unit of the biggest audio giveaway the world has ever seen, we’re giving away 5 IEMs from iBAsso Audio: 4 x IT01 and 1 x IT04 worth around $900USD!! These excellent IEMs can become yours and all you have to do is … sign up and leave a comment. Any comment is good but tell me what your favorite and most used IEM at this time is.
But first, let’s look iBAsso and their IT01 and IT04 IEMs.
iBasso IT01
About iBasso Audio
iBasso is Chinese maker of DAPs, amplifiers, DACs and more recently IEMs. They’ve been in the audio game for a bit more than 10 years now and the brand really got famous with their first set of players : the DX50 and DX90. They also make great IEMs like the IT01, IT01S and the IT04. The Ibasso Audio goal is “To capture the essence of music for all to enjoy”.
The IT01 and IT04
The lucky winners will get his unit shipped directly by iBasso. They will cover the shipping fee but neither iBasso nor Headfonia will cover any other expenses such as VAT, import fees, tax, etc. This is all the winner’s responsibility so if you’re not up for that, it’s best not to enter. iBasso also won’t lower the unit’s value for shipping.

- Leave a comment on this post you’re reading here. Preferably telling us what IEM you’re using right now. (Though you can comment anything to enter. This is just here cause one reader didn’t understand this and went a bit crazy)
And while you’re at it like the iBasso Audio and Headfonia Facebook pages HERE and HERE, if you haven’t already.
The winners will be chosen at random out of those that completed all 2 steps!

After signing up you’ll get a personal link to share. For each new participant that enters via your personal link on Twitter, Google+ or Facebook, etc. you get an extra chance to win! The iBasso IT03 and DX90 was my “gateway drug” into the world of Hifi, and at a very accessible price. Doesn’t hurt that their customer service is world class. Although I have moved on to higher-priced gear (e.g. Hyla CE-5, which I think is a IT03 on steroids), they will always have a special place in my heart.

The reviews speak a strong language: those guys know their thing and tuning is excellent.

I currently use three IEMs (and a Hifiman HE-4XX at home):
1. Final Audio E3000 – love it for its warm and smooth sound with solid bass, and is the only pair of mine with dynamic drivers. Its tiny size, price and surprising durability mean I bring it along for many activities.
2. CCA C16: Just got these a couple days ago am quite impressed. Nice across the whole frequency range, though personally I do like a bit more low bass, but I would not say it is lacking exactly. Still need to do more listening but was very impressed listening to Pentangle and Moondog last night.
3. Tenhz P4 Pro: Build looks great but the acrylic body of one of the headphones began splitting apart at the seams only days after receiving them, and was told no warranty by Massdrop. So I cannot recommend them from a quality control perspective Mids do indeed sound great, very engaging, and no sibilance but I do wish there was some more bass.
