As communicated a few weeks ago, we will be covering all of the World Of Headphones shows this year. The High End Munich show organization held its first WOH show last Saturday in Heidelberg (Germany), and we had a blast! This is the WOH Heidelberg 2024 show report.
World Of Headphones & Heidelberg
Heidelberg is a beautiful city and especially the old town is a treat to the eyes. The WOH show was a bit away from the city center in an old rebuild water tower, called Tankturm.
I have been to a lot of shows and I have to admit that this was the prettiest location ever. Yes it were a lot of stairs to do all day, but the advantage of the building was that they have many different smaller rooms and small means less people. Because of this the areas were all nicely quiet and it allowed you to really take in the sound of all the wonderful gear. Nicely done by the High End team!
The top floor of the building was reserved as a listening area and there was a big open fire place and one of the major brands there was Campfire Audio, coincidence? I think not.
The show was free and as such a lot of people showed up on this very sunny day. We saw nothing but happy people and smiling faces. I also really liked the classic watches event that was going on at the same time.
