Violectric
Of course Lake People was also showing the Violectric gear next to the Lake People and Niimbus Audio gear.
Pay attention to the headphone cable. The company is now building and selling (soon?) silver headphone cables, Fried’s favorite kind and a design from his hand.
Vision Ears
OK, so they weren’t really at High End this year, but I stopped there on the way to Munich and got the opportunity to take this shot of the internals of the Erlkönig.
Viva Audio
We’ve been wanting to do an article on these amps for quite a while now, but they aren’t the lightest or cheapest. Great sound though
Warwick
After the Sonoma model One, Warwick now has the higher end Aperio. While it sounded very good it didn’t wow me as much as the Sonoma Model One did. And then there’s there price… Anyway, it’s still very good and we’ll see if we can get hold of one for review
At the show the units didn’t sound very loud but it’s something they’re working on fixing right now.
A look inside the amplifier.
Woo Audio
Officially Woo wasn’t at the show but we spotted several Woo amps
If I remember well, I found the WA11 at he Abyss’ booth
That’s it for this year’s report!
The show was fun but now there’s a lot of work to do on all the reviews of the new gear. The full Headfonia team will be at the Canjam London show in July and of course we’ll be making a show report of that as well.
See you there?
Booker
Good to see more closed headphones coming out these days. Looking forward to reviews 🙂

Hi Lieven, thanks for posting a picture of one of our Spirit Torino headphones on your Part 2 Munich High End report. Just for the record, the model in the picture is a single driver Superleggera, not a Twin Pulse. You can check out the different models on our website, if you so wish. Cheers!

I think IEM cables will be the next big thing.

Spirit Torino, not Toreno 🙂
